Before you get started creating a small business website to promote a tangible product or a line of related products, do the necessary research to see if there is already a market. Use your related keywords and do research to find out if there are a number of adwords already targeting this market.
Then you have to strike a delicate balance and decide if there are too many marketers already targeting this niche of tangible products, or if there is still room for another website business to compete.
You will need a supplier of good quality products. So be sure you can have a steady supply of products before you make the final decision.
Price margin is another thing to consider. Can you make enough of a margin to make marketing your tangible products profitable?

Niche businesses are the way to go on the internet if you want home based businesses that are profitable while avoiding massive competition.
Yes, adsense is not completely dead yet, but don't put all your eggs in one basket. Finding niches is a matter of finding something enough people are searching for who have the discretionery income to make a purchase.
Niches are a small area within a broader market. The advantage here is that the fortune 500 companies have no interest in serving these needs because the market is too small for them.
And, as a matter of fact, the fortune 500 companies are not interested in catering to the needs of the marketplaces they do have. They run on reputation and brand awareness that was developed before the internet was up to speed.
Look at the websites of some of these companies and see if there is not a crack in their wall you can sneak through and carve out a business niche for yourself.

The problem with the internet, however, is that the message sent by many marketers leaves the impression that riches are instant and with no effort involved. Business is business whether it is offline or online.
For anyone coming online for the purpose of doing business on the internet, I would caution you not to believe these claims! Dollar for dollar, the internet is a great opportunity, but make no mistake about it there is work involved if you want to find success.
